The holiday season is just around the corner, and we know it’s one of the most exciting – and busiest – times of the year for you! With Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and all the holiday rush on the horizon, we want to make sure everything runs smoothly for you and your shoppers.
That’s why we’re kicking off our Holiday Peak Readiness Plan, including a code freeze to ensure top-notch performance and stability on your website during these high-traffic days.
Important Dates:
- Code Freeze Starts: November 25th
- Code Freeze Ends: December 2nd
- Normal Operations Resume: December 3rd
What Does This Mean for You?
- Review Display: From November 25th, new reviews won’t refresh on your site until after the freeze ends on December 2nd. Shoppers will still see all the great reviews you’ve collected up until the freeze.
- Review Collection: The review form on your website will continue to collect reviews as usual during this period, and new reviews will appear on your website once the code freeze ends.
- Product Feeds: We won’t be processing new product feeds during the freeze, but don’t worry—regular ingestion will resume on December 3rd.
- Syndication Requests: Any syndication requests made during the freeze will be handled once the freeze is over.
- Review Migrations: If you need to migrate reviews during this period, those requests will be processed after the freeze.
- Implementation Projects: If you’re in the middle of an implementation project, our team will continue to work with you. However, there will be some limits on what can be done, like importing new product feeds.
